Kaixin Utopia (pronounced KYE – sin [kye rhymes with dye]) was a rookie hero at the time of the Brain Attack, which was the same time she was assigned to the Tau-4 team.

History

Before the Brain Attack

Kaixin Utopia was created in the Assembly Tower. However, her beginnings as a Hero were a little bit different that other Heroes are used to. Rather than going through some basic training, Kaixin was about eight seconds old when she was ordered to go fight some Brains. This was done for two reasons. One, to see how a Hero would react and adapt to only on-the-job training, and two, (and this is the main reason) Hero Factory was kind of shorthanded at that moment.

Another odd thing about Kaixin is her last name; Utopia. Rarely are Heroes named after their weapons, in this case, the Utopia Beacon, but when they are, you know that the weapon must be pretty kick-ass.

Since she was a Hero with great potential, yet with no experience, she was quickly shunted to a team with two very capable members, Tau-4. Both the Leader and the Deputy Leader, Caine Tungsten and Dustin Cyclops respectively, were battle-hardened veterans.

The rest of Kaixin’s life during the Brain Attack consists of firing her Utopia Beacon/Holy Grail, stepping on Brains, and making the occasional sarcastic remark.

Weaponry Detail

• Utopia Beacon: An extremely powerful artillery weapon. Uses light as its primary ammunition. This can be subsituted with fire. In fact, Kaixin has been known to fire both light and fire at the same time, with devastating effects. The Utopia Beacon is more or less impossible to fire while moving. (Only Atlas Ironside has achieved this, and was at least 2 meters off target). In addition, the Utopia Beacon is heavy as (expletive). In order to store it, it must be seperated into different parts, and then stowed away. However, there is a plus side to this. Kaixin, being the intelligent Hero she is, has found out that by assembling only the four core parts of this ordance weapon that she can fire it, albeit with less power and range. This has saved her and the team in many a tight situation. There was only one Utopia Beacon ever made.
• Holy Grail: A wicked SMG. With a clip size of 60, it can be compared to the human Uzi. But, honestly, what kind of Uzi has a rate of fire 1320 rounds her minute, nearly no recoil, and is the size of half your forearm? And shoots light? To answer the question: Kaixin's Holy Grail. There was only one Holy Grail ever made.
